At Norco Elementary, we believe in the power of preparing students early for college and career, which is why we are an AVID Elementary School. AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. In this approach, we assist students with organizational tools, systems for time management and we integrate writing, strategies across all core subjects. Our teachers and staff receive advance training, resources, and ongoing support to ensure a lasting impact that helps prepare our students for long term success.
Each of our classrooms, (K-6) are aligned to specific colleges, universities, military branches, and/or careers. We partner with Norco High School in providing experiences that brings the concept of career alive for our students in the form of field trips. We invite our students & staff to wear college and career spirit wear every Wednesday. It’s never too early to plan and support our Mustangs achieve all their aspirations and dreams!

See our grade level supply list below. Parent Communication folders will be provided by the school for students in Kinder through 2nd grade. Students in 3rd through 6th grade will receive a 2 inch binder from the school.
